a turtle’s eye view – quinter by c. reynolds keller

disclaimer – i was provided an e-galley of this novel in exchange for an honest review.

i really wanted to like quinter by c. reynolds keller. unfortunately, i never developed a sense of connection with and empathy for the two main characters. i found myself wondering if anyone could really be that quick to accept something that seemed way too good to be true and i had a difficult time keeping the various characters and companies straight.

this novel couldn’t decide what style it wanted to call home and i found that confusing. while a mix of styles/genres is exciting if done well, it is very frustrating if there isn’t a pay-off in the end. quinter may be another reader’s perfect novel, it just wasn’t mine.
